I just bought another stahls with the auto opening , not a swing away . i think the auto opening trumps the swingaway. The Ladies doing the heat press prefer it by far because the hardest part for them was opening the press. We also find you can start setting up the next shirt because it will auto open.
Buy a dozen replacement pistons trust me they don't last long at all. Unless they improved on them since we bought ours.
