Just when I think its time for a new computer and ordered it to, or should i say won it on ebay, my computer starts acting all fast and crap. granted I havent done any art work stuff today but still surfing is super fast and no intermittent freezing. Anyways I won the bid on a brand new in the box thinkstation e30, and im in the process of ordering ecc ram for a total of 16g which will be a far cry from my current rig of 2g. It feels like Christmas almost just with out all the Christmas crap bah hum bug! Thanks Pierre for all the help.

They are a bit like over paid, under-performing ballplayers. They dog it for as long as they can until they see a new young guy on the bench who is hungry and wants a chance to take his place.
Of course your old guy knew about your ebay deal and is trying one last time to hit it out of the park to impress you.
