Classes on Transfers only?
« on: March 15, 2013, 10:14:24 AM »
I have seen multiple classes and schools offered on screen printing basics and advance technique but does anyone know of a business or individual that does classes strictly on screening your own transfers?
We have the basics down but would love to learn more on multi color and the best paper and ink to use with what screen counts and methods etc. Plus rhinestone transfers etc.  Would appreciate all input. Thank you.

First things first, welcome to the forum.

I have seen (and attended) seminars by Stahls covering a lot of Heat Seal, but never the screen printed part.
That is really an aspect of flat stock printing that many shirt printers have adopted, though often with shirt presses rather than the clam shells or jiffy clamp and vacuum tables often used.

Rhinestone lessons and webinars are probably going to be easier to find as they are sort of an add-on profit center for the heat press folks, and they want to sell you the supplies.

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Come on down, or up, to Kansas and we can give you some lessons on how we do our transfers. Multiple color, cold peel, hot split, hats or whatever. Been doing them for around 15 years....
