I run virtually all my stuff 55 lpi @ 22.5 degrees, elliptical dot.

Dan does my simulated seps and this was his recommendation many, many moons ago. Seems to work well for us, so no reason to change.

Squeegie, that's the stuff right there.  Pretty sharp.  How many colors?  We run most of ours 55 lpi also with the occasional 65lpi for small prints with a lot of detail.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

My man Bill is a very good printer.
he's one that can take a full color print and really dial everything in on a 6 color press.

Most everything I do for him is 4 colors + base and top white or 5 colors and a base white.
With that, he seems to be able to do any job that comes his way and do it in excellence.
Up north, he's a diamond in the rough woods.

I could say it's all in the seps, but it's only part of it.  I've tried to convince him to do some print consulting g but he's a little too modest or something.

Anyone who's got a similar press, and needs assistance taking it to the next level, he can show you how to do wonders with it. I'm sure.

Give yourself more credit Dan you've done seps for me in the pass which maxed out my press and I did just what you said to do and the print was spot on.  Just MHO but your one that can turn a 8 color print into a six color and not miss any colors, you really know how to blend colors in your seps so THANKS!!!

Artistically speaking, this print isn't that fancy, but this is definitely the nicest print i've ever gotten on sweatshirts which are always a challenge (champions reverse weaves).
Underbase, red, blue, top white.

I am pretty sure he is using the european  mesh numbers so a euro 120 would be equivalent to a 305. Unless he's a wizard, and after seeing some of his prints he may well be.
