I am just interested how I am doing compared to others.
-
I average about a K a day. I had my press installed in July, and have put 134K on it since getting it. Not too bad for a two-man show in a 900sf shop that is 40 miles from the big city.
-
Some weeks we might only do a thousand shirts, some days we'll do 3K. We printed 3400 shirts on Monday, maybe 500 the next day. This week we'll have done 40 jobs and will probably top out at around 7K shirts for the week.
-
I count impressions not units. Anywhere from 25 to 40K depending on run length and #colors. For hot market last winter I believe we did 10K in 8 hrs.

I'm at the other end.
I'm the guy that gets the referrals from other shops when customers don't make their minimums.
Heck, Cub Scouts and Campfire Girls need shirts too. And, the shorter runs are better with my likewise shorter attention span.

right now we are doing 200k impressions per year, that's about 4k per week. But . . . some weeks it might be 1000 and some it might be 10K.

The boys at Paramount told me they were averaging 65,000 per day
