Title: How Printing should be
Post by: tonypep on June 15, 2017, 04:38:02 PM
Finally a break from Comfort Color Pig dyes. DC full color printing on triblends. Reproduced a nasty plastisol print from another printer (large square graphic) and out of the park nailed it. Soooo much better hand, vibrancy etc. Three color halftone blend 280 mesh seamless graduation no dots. Simple white DC on red triblend. No base, no flash, no misprints, no problem ;)

I take it it's something you can't post a pic of.

Some folks just expect you to take it on faith. (at least he didn't start his post with "believe me", LOL)

I've seen enough of his prints over the last couple of years to get the gist, that it probably looks great...

Sorry gang, can't post pics. Non disclosure agreement and all. It was a "that was GOOD" day for sure. Probably the best part of it was the educational opportunity. Nothing like it. The printers were digging it. Sometimes rewards are better than awards. Andy has permission to re-post some earlier stuff like blends etc. Redundant for many so I apologize in advance but perhaps eye openers for newcomers. Serj has pretty much all of us beat though and I don't know how hes doing that stuff with DC on a manual. Perhaps its in the Virus ink chem.
Cheers TP

I don't wanna make him feel pressured to post...and get in trouble. Bummer tho, but he started it with the tease. LOL.

He will have to start printing extras and just mailing them to each of us.

Tpep print's are like a good looking stripper with two sets of clothing on, you know it's looks good but you can't see it  ;D,  I know how it is we've done some really nice contract print's we can't post a pic of or show sample's in our shop.
