Title: Film RIP for P7000?
Post by: ZooCity on March 18, 2019, 07:03:07 PM
Anyone know of a film RIP that runs on the higher end Epson photo printers?

Excluding Wasatch that is.  Nothing against the Wasatch RIP's basic function but we have one for our dye sub printer and it's hilariously goofy with the workflow. Makes great images, love the profiles, but just an awful workflow.

For film positives.   We don't need a photo rip, just wanted to use a photo printer as a backup film printer.

Good to know, thx.

We sadly can't use filmmaker, tried very hard to get it to print from AI (on osx) to our rip station (win) but it just won't work for us.

Nobody knows.  We've successfully used hot folders and such in the past but after two deep dives trying to get it to work with FM over the years, no dice.
