I believe we purchased the Uni-Kote with the CTS, but no, I do not see why a tech would be needed for installing it. Just gotta figure out the height and settings to use on your screens to get the eom you want and you are golden.

We set ours up without a tech. Not sure if m&r makes you do it to get the warranty but the setup was so easy that I can't imagine they require a tech.

the machine does not have to be set up by a tech. Usually on something like this your sales rep can help you learn to run it. I even did one and we coated the first screen in 1/2 hr.

No. Level it using the feet. Plug it into the wall. Attach airline. Done.
If it doesn't work then its too low...sooo...
Turn it on, flag top sensor or middle sensor with a flat head screw driver while hitting blue or green button. Can't remember now. Or Hit button then flag. One way or another it will then move up to where its supposed to be and you can start coating.

Thanks everyone.

one trick I learned really fast with our coater is that a 2/2 doesn't build any more emulsion than a 1/1, but results in a smoother coat with almost no worries about air bubbles if running somewhat fast.
