Spot Color Supply is in GA. they've been doing a bunch of our screens as of late.

And GSF is in IL, in case you are ok with going a bit outside of your area codes.

River City does a nice job as well.

What are you guys paying to ship a dozen frames to the re-stretchers?

Keep in mind, if the freight seems to high, let us quote it.

Many of our smaller accounts take advantage of this service. I’ve seen many instances where our price was 30-50% less than what the customer would have paid, and we just bill it with the order.

Plus free shipping back over $150.00

We use Spot Color Supply here in Atlanta, GA.  They do a great job and Scott and Brannan are very easy to work with.  The Free shipping back to you is a definite plus.  Give them a shot.

Another vote for spot color supply. We've been very happy with their services for several years now

I’ve only used Spot color for restretches (also new statices) and GSF for new frames. I’ve had good luck with both but you’ll pay full UPS shipping with GSF whereas you’ll get free or discounted rates from Spot Color. I’m in WI which is aways from Georgia and it’s less for me to get stuff from Spot Color.

I've been trying to wrap my head around getting screen re stretched verse's buying new frames, I just ordered a few new ones from Spot color today in fact.  Is it cheaper to get your old frames re stretched Pros/Cons

Here is an example for you to think about....

Based on (12) 20x24 110 mesh frames at list price.

Return shipping is free either way.

New 20x24 110 is $22.51 (That is $270.12 to your door).

Restretch 20x24 110 is $14.67 + $1.62 Inbound freight (That is $195.48 round trip).

That is a $74.64 savings.

The numbers can vary based on where you are in the country, but restretching is usually cheaper, and the quality is exactly the same. The key is sending in the right quantity of frames. Boxes of 10-12 (23x31) or 12-14 of 20x24 tend to work out the best.
