Title: Printing on tie-dye

Customer wants printing on his own tie-dyed shirts he did himsrlt. Any thoughts or comments welcomed.

I have never had a problem.
For years, I have done these for a local Boy Scout Troop.
I have printed both before and after they dyed their shirts.

Nonetheless, as on any client-supplied shirts, you need to emphasize the common disclaimer of responsibility for only the decoration.

Yep, same. We use Poly White just on the off-chance something happens w/ dye migration. Though we have used Low-Bleed before & didn't have an issue (pre & post tie-dye).

Seriously though, I'd use a good poly ink, and test a small part of the shirt before you use the zim gun on them.  Other than that there ain't much to it.  But some schmuck dyeing them in his mom's bathtub might be a completely different ballgame.  But that's your problem to sort out...good luck.

If the shirts are white print them before they are tie-died.
