Title: Silicone transfers on nylon taffeta
Post by: srabadan on March 04, 2016, 12:05:29 PM
We are having some trouble getting the tiny points of a silicone transfer to adhere to nylon taffeta.

Here is a photo illustrating the problem.

The silicone transfer is a little new for us and to my knowledge we haven't seen this before. I was wondering if we think this is a problem with the application (heat or pressure) or a problem with the product/substrate combination. Perhaps silicone has a problem sticking to the smooth surface, maybe it was coated or washed?

The fact that the adhesion problem seems to be at the points makes me think it's heat and pressure.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

Thanks everyone!
