Title: Metallic pastes best way to mix?
Post by: UnderPressureSP on March 04, 2016, 10:38:56 AM
I am wondering what the best way to mix up metallic paste with a ink base so its chunk free.   Those chunks kill production and the drill is not cutting it.  This is for flatstock.  I was thinking about get a Turnabout.    If any one has recommendation or a turnabout for sale used that would be awesome.

You might try a cheap hand mixer from the dollar store to see if it will help.  What about a retarder it should help cut in to it some.

Hmmmm. Just yesterday I was talking to a buddy about metallic on flat stock. However, I am completely unfamiliar with pastes, as as long as I can remember, the standard was powders.

It does, however, seem to me, that paste would be dealt with similarly to cooking recipes in which the base would be added gradually while mixing.
