Title: 3d help
Post by: Gilligan on August 14, 2012, 04:02:00 PM
So I'm doing a pretty basic logo and I'm having some issues.

Attached is a picture that shows what I'm pretty sure is my run stitch that I used as an "underlay" to help "cut" the foam seems to be pulling up and "looping" all along the edge.

I even moved it in a bit which helped a tiny bit but not nearly enough.

I'm sure it's a rookie mistake... anyone wanna help me out?

Were you able to figure it out??  If not let me know.
If you are having no luck try a zigzag underlay to walk to where you need to go if all else fails.  The edge run tends to roll off of the foam so that is where part of your issue is.

Dennis suggested dropping the edge run completely.

That seemed to work.  A bit of foam sometimes pulls out in similar fashion as the thread did but that gets shrunk back in with a touch of the heat gun.
