Title: PreSale backend software
Post by: TCT on June 06, 2018, 10:48:18 AM
Confusing enough title? I was at a lack for how to describe what we are looking for.

To be as direct as possible, we are looking for software that will do basically the back end of what www.cottonbureau.com (http://www.cottonbureau.com) does. We are not looking to do or become what Cotton Bureau does, but we have a group of clients that we could really use a small portion of their concept for. Figured I'd ask you guys if anyone is familiar with software/programming and knew if there is a already available program(maybe used in another industry) that would do what they have going on. If there is something that does 70% of what they have it would be much more economical for us to buy/subscribe to that vs. paying tens of thousands of dollars to have someone develop it from scratch.

Setting up company stores through Inksoft is not a option, that is much too time consuming.

Can you describe a bit more of what the backend of www.cottonbureau.com (http://www.cottonbureau.com) does?

There isn't software like that, what you are asking with the backend is what InkSoft does with the pre-order or company stores.

What I think you are really wanting is the front end to be automated, like https://www.customink.com/fundraising, (https://www.customink.com/fundraising,) https://represent.com (https://represent.com), https://teespring.com (https://teespring.com)

Where the customer can setup their own pre-order campaigns, and then if it hits its goal you print and fulfill.  There isn't anything out of the box that I know of that does both front end store setup / backend administration, the above 3 options have serious investment in software, and cottonbureau.com seems to be built on Laravel (PHP Framework) but doesn't have any front end automation as far as store campaign setup as that is the tedious part that InkSoft should add to their pre-sale software as they have the designer, and the backend, just need to bridge the two.
