"Almost" seamless? Man, you're picky...

55lpi elliptical is my main squeeze.  I just struggle with how much to overlap and angles, that and the godforsaken awful way that Adobe programs handle gradients, everything seems to be pushing your beautiful on screen gradients into a stripey, hard banded mess at output.

Tight work!

Nice print as always Tony!

Here's one of mine.  3 color DC print (all sericol flo's), one screen split fountain :D  Not the smoothest blend of the bunch, but I didn't feel like unfolding the whole bin for a perfect one.  I actually think the ones with more weird blending artifacts look like waves/clouds and add to the design.  This is one of my original designs I sell locally.

Hey Mimosa, a horizontal split fountain yet, pretty cool. The first press I learned on was an old Vastex where the squeegees were mounted on a T-bar, where the T ran on bearings, so you could only print horizontally. When we got rid of it, we had to go the 3 color route... nice print too by the way.

Thanks! This was a pretty giant pain in the ass :D

I used a single platen and loaded one at a time.  I would only lift the screen enough to clear the gate, then rest it on the platen 90 degrees from the one I was printing on so the fade stayed consistent and didn't creep down.  This was also a small run, I think around 50 total, split between men's and women's cuts.  I was super happy with the results at the end of the dryer.  It was the first split fountain I've done where I couldn't see the print well until after the cure.  :D

Nice. The Sericol Flos are a great candidate for fountains

Yea, I tested out a handful of brands and they are far and away the best in my opinion.

That takes balls to run a split fountain with DC fluoros on black.  I would want to have some white scrap Ts on hand to check the blend occasionally.

It is my own design so the only person I had to please was me, and rejects get handed out to family/friends as long as they aren't terrible.  For a client I don't think I would have run it this way, 3 screens all the way.
