Does anyone have a reliable source for printed nylon jacket transfers.

Haven't used them myself, but have seen that FM Expressions has them for nylon umbrellas, so I have to assume that they would work on jackets as well. https://www.fmexpressions.com/docs/2018-FM-Catalog.pdf (https://www.fmexpressions.com/docs/2018-FM-Catalog.pdf)
Heck, if FM has'em, Ace probably does as well. Both well-established companies for transfers.

They probably do, but I don't see ones that specify Nylon as a recommended fabric. What do they call them?

Recommended Fabrics: cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends
No mention of suitability for nylon

I have pressed vinyl transfers (from Color Your World) on Nylon Bags with no problems.

As have I, but Farmboy seemed to be looking for Screen Printed transfers. (though I could be wrong)
As you know, the print and cut transfers can have limitations due to the nature of cutting and weeding, and sometimes the need for an added contour outline.

Stretch Litho work just fine and are half the cost of Cad-Printz. I do like the Cad Printz though. just sayin

Throwing away some old samples, and happened across a Nylo-Flex sample from QuickTrans. I've never sourced through this company, much less used this product, so I can't vouch for them. Very disappointed. Though I didn't pull rank with the forum, LOL, here's the result:

He's acting like they are an end-product producer vs. transfer producer and you were asking for their secret formula.
Do they print directly to substrate as well as sell transfers?
I notice he's a Sales Consultant. Your question should have gone to a Technical or Product Rep.

Yes, and though perhaps I should have mentioned the interest on our forum in the first place, I responded thusly:

The question of where to find screen printed transfers for nylon jackets had come up on an Industry Forum, TheShirtBoard.
I mentioned you guys, and follow-up turned to this. Our members are fairly knowledgeable and generally pose intelligent, relevant questions.
For what it's worth, I did suggest that samples are usually readily available, so that if the member with the question had a spare jacket, he could test your product.
In and of itself, though, that does not preclude the knowledge of just what they are buying.
If you are using a proprietary ink formula, and are hesitant to give full details, that's understandable, but all we were looking for in an answer is what makes these plastisol transfers different than those we'd get for T shirts.
It's a shame that it has not been answered.

Why would a supplier that is trying to keep a step ahead of their competition reveal any proprietary information?...
I have used FM Expressions for 10+ years with generally good results....As with any supplier they are not perfect but darn close....

If that were the case, and it was me who was involved with communications for the company, I would have answered something like "we use a proprietary formula of plastisol that most assuredly adheres well to waterproofed nylon. We are happy to send a sample that we are sure will more than meet your expectations."
Perhaps I'm overly sensitive (a snowflake by today's terms) but what I got felt much more like "yeah, you contacted our tech department, but we don't like giving out technical information, but rather turn it over to sales, who aren't really interested in making a sale. Screw off!"

Well, things seemed have escalated :-) Thank you for all the replies. I passed all of this along to a friend that's in the business but only deals with transfers.

I have a hunch that a quality adhesive, printed last down, would do the job. Wish I had the time to test.
It's a nice advantage of transfer printing that the colors print backwards and you can lay down whatever you want last, as the UB.
