Very good email SCAM
(1/1)
farmboygraphics:
Got an email this morning from a real business, complete with a very authentic signature line. They were trying to send me a pdf file and since I haven't done business
with them before I asked what it was in reference to? Got back a very believable response and proceeded to open the file in google drive. That's where I noticed it was asking permission
from another state and I stopped right there. I called the the person's cell that was on the email, she had no idea what I was talking about but did tell me her gmail account had been just disabled.
Told her I hope her day goes better and then immediately changed my password, just in time as I started getting alerts. I haven't seen one like this before.

We get those from time to time and it's really a pain that you have to stay on high alert all the time to keep from being scammed, while we sleep at night these jokers are up plotting how to steal from hard working people, makes me sick!!!!
farmboygraphics:
I've been quoting so many jobs, that I figured it was someone sending artwork.

It must work for them. I just don't understand. Is there profit in this or is it just to be a RAGING ass to the rest of the world?
mk162:
They are getting better and better, and I bet AI will really make them harder to distinguish.
