We just encountered this today, and can't figure out what's going on.
we are using iCC low cure White, through a 156 mesh, printing a VERY block image on a Canvas Tri-blend tee. On a 100% cotton tester tee, no problem, everything prints, and clears correctly. On the Canvas Tri-Blend Tees, the print is sticking to the screen, and pulling it up off the platten.
plattens were adhesived twice with waterbased adhesive, and are EXTREMELY tacky. Off contact is 1/16th of an inch.
at first i thought maybe the head it was on was acting funny (as the pressure has had an issue or two the past couple of days), so i switched it to another head. Still picking up.
Any idea what we can do?
thanks! happy thanksgiving!

Think of how stretchy tri-blends are. Even if it is superglued down it can still stretch and pull up.
One of a couple things, try a regular low bleed, not a poly ink, and raise mesh count to reduce ink volume for
less pull.
Ironic that the softest fashion fabrics require stiff nasty inks, and even more ironic that people always want large blocks of color printed on them.

Quick White is fine for us on Tri blends, no need for poly ink and way easier to print on them. I don't know what tension you are at, but up that off contact if it's in the 25-35 n/cm range. We run plasti at around 5/32" off the platen. You need good peel in this situation. A fast print stroke can help in some cases.

we typically keep them in the 30n range, so i'll def. try raising it up.
I'd love to know how tonyp does DCUB on stuff like this. we've never been happy with the results.

plastisol and triblends=problems, I hate printing triblends.

we just tried a new low bleed ink today on red 100 percent polyester. It is called Epic, Top Score. It worked totally awesone, creamy, no bleed, great stretch, excellent white opacity. The best poly ink I have ever used. Mad the job so much easier, and much better quality. I highly recommend it, we were saying we were going to throw our polywhite out. A must try.

tri blends do not stick.
