Let's talk about this for a second. What system are you guys doing? where are you doing it?
Right now we are out of solvent in our parts cleaner, but i've been relecutant to buy more as it's really not good for our employees health. Currently they've been cleaning them in our ink sink, but it's eating up our red sponges, and our bean-e-doo.
How are you all cleaning them?
-
Shurloc Squeegee Clean and Citra Paste cut with a fair bit of water.
-
Plastiwash in your solvent tank.
-
Solvent in a big solvent tank, and a ventilated hood over it.

Plastiwash in your solvent tank.
This is what i use WORKS GREAT

yup, I use plastiwash here too, works great

I use a cleanup card and card every little scrap of ink off the blade and floodbar back into the bucket. Then a spritz of 701 on both sides, one paper towel, rub until clean. Takes about 20-40 seconds depending on how much the ink climbed the squeegee.

Give Citra-Paste a try. It is dilutable with water. For simple ink clean up and squeegees we dilute it up to 50% with water. We've found it won't leave a greasy residue like Bean-e-Doo.
