Not a big issue at all...but was just wondering out of curiosity, on my Nuarc MSP 3140 I have the push button controls..I see now it has a touchscreen display...would it be possible to swap out the push button pad for the touch screen pad? Again, not a major issue at all...was just wondering if its possible. I'm assuming the touch screen pad type require different components on the inside of the unit to make the pad work.

Have you called M&R and asked? They would be the ones to know best.

stick with what you got, in my opinion, that model you have is FAR superior. I would trade my new one for your old one if you were close by.

i hear ya...no complaints what so ever with my exposure unit...when I was using it the other day i was standing there waiting for the expose to finish and my mind got to thinking about the touch screen and then the thought came "I wonder if the pads can be interchanged?"

We did get some jibberish on the display during the countdown the other day.
Still worked, then we powered off and back on and all was normal again.
My guy videoed it because he feared it would act right when I came around the corner.

It is really not feasible because much more than the control panel would have to be changed. The PLC and the entire wiring harness would need to be changed because the Integrator / Controller works with the light source and the vacuum system.
