Title: Screen clamps
Post by: larryk on January 15, 2014, 10:59:12 AM
Finally upgraded to an M&R press and now I'm having problems with registration..... I think I need some of those clamps for the round bars. I have MZX and M3's both..... anybody have any extra they would be willing to part with?

Go to local machine shop, get angle iron the length of side you wish to clamp.

Works great as long as flat side of angle iron matches flat side of corners.

Nice press!  I made one just like that, right down to the jiffy clamps bolted onto a stack 'o 2x4s years ago for an art center using some busted American platen bracket parts.  It's surprising how much can get done on a setup like this that maybe costs $20 to build.
