So I have finally decided to get rid of my Cameo 24. I just don't use it enough to justify the floor space it takes up in my shop. It is in perfect working condition (vacuum, foot pedal, micros, etc). New rubber in the 24" squeegee, and comes with a smaller squeegee/flood as well. I have a box of extra small parts and a binder with a photocopy of the original manual. Max print area is 14x24, perfect for smaller posters, invitations, and plastisol transfers (what I use it for primarily).
Also including 11 26.5x33 aluminum static frames. Some need reclaiming, but the mesh is good to go in them all. Mostly higher mesh counts.
Would prefer local pickup here in Austin, but will crate and ship for someone with credibility on the boards. $500 firm.

I wish I was closer.....I am working on a project that this would be perfect for....This is a"steal" folks....
-
Agreed, I have the previous version and it works everytime, dead simple.
-
It really is a great press, and I know this is under valued, but I got it for a steal and I just want to pass it along.
-
Where you are you royster? Coincidentally we too are selling our Cameo 22x30 and screens/floods/squeegees. Not trying to jack yer classified mimosa, your press is a very sweet deal.
-
haha no worries! How much are you selling your for? The larger size is definitely a good thing to have. I honestly might even be inclined to keep mine if it could print 18x24, but even then I just don't get enough use out of it for the space. I only have 900 sq ft so every bit is important.

I am 3 hours north of Spokane WA...... But I am still putting together the pieces and not ready to buy equipment yet....

Holy smokes, we're practically neighbors. Let me know when you get ready. We're getting rid of a Cameo, 20' TexAir EEE, M&R No shirt detector, more stuff I can't remember. If seriously interested in any of it just make an offer and I'd be fine with payment later on as long you get the gear out of our hair in a week or so.

Where are you?

Would anyone be willing to post this on digitsmith for me with my contact info? I didn't realize you had to pay to post a classified and I don't really want to spend $50 in the off chance someone is interested. PM me for info. Thanks!
-
You don't have to pay, at least I don't! Be happy to post it for you later if you have a problem, I'm putting a set of gear up today.
-
Someone else here (maybe Sam) once mentioned shock at seeing a charge there. What's the deal?
I would think that possibly they charge for commercial listings, but, not too many private people would pay $50, just to list.
-
When I tried to post it a page loaded that showed I didn't have the right permissions and showed the benefits of purchasing a membership, which was $49.99 per year I believe.
-
We had a Cameo 18 that we converted to run one color prints on shirts, mousepads, and probably about 100k of statue of liberty foam cutouts. Great machines...

I know of an operation in the Eastern US that prints 100s of thousand of flyers (frisbees) each year on one of these....
-
Digitsmith is free. Not 100% positive but I think that $50 is for getting your ad to stick at the top. Many of the commercial guy post there without charge.

give me an account like that and I'll gladly make room for it to stay :D
I though about converting it to do single color shirt prints, but would need room for a second rotary carousel near my dryer and I just don't have it :( The way it prints would also mean I would have to design some kind of weird swastika looking platen arm configuration to take advantage of the full print area which would lead to weird issues with supporting the platens. The manual actually has a whole section on how to convert it to do everything from shirts to boxes that are already folded.

Hi, I just saw your post and am interested in your Cameo to replace mine. I am in Austin.

We removed the vacuum base first, then built a base to hold an Advance t-shirt support plate, like on the Rototex manual press, put on a plate and flew. We already had a Rototex, so being able to swap out adult and kids plates was very convenient. We don't have one anymore though, but it is a good way to go if you have the type of work that can use it. I'll bet we used to do 400 mousepads an hour without breaking a sweat.

AWT sells the conversion for a shirt platen, I think it's around $400 but DIY works too.
The new cameos have a crank handle to raise and lower the bed and I saw they are now offering a chopper assembly retrofit. Those upgrades would turn the cameo, which is a bear to setup and best lest setup for one substrate in my opinion, into a much more versatile press. And, yeah, they can print damn fast, easily 300pcs+/hr with a solo operator.

If anyone else is interested, I think we have 3 Cameo 30s laying around gathering dust. Let me
know and I'll see how much the boss wants for them. I'm in Jacksonville Fl. 8)
