Title: Hand soap. Which one and where?
Post by: Denis Kolar on March 31, 2014, 07:51:10 AM
I'm looking to get a gallon of a Screen Printers hand soap.
I believe it is made by CCI. Am I correct?

If not CCI, who makes it? And where I can buy it?

Thanks

We have always just used the Goop orange hand soap. Is the stuff you are talking about much better?

I had a small sample from a ISS show. It was much better than a Orange soap.
Removes the ink much better and it has a hand moisturizer in it.

I just lost a sample somewhere :(

I like Goop with the grit in it. It is also safe to use on carpets, car seats... to remove ink. Baby wipes are good for a quick wipe.

I bought this stuff: http://www.screenprintingsupply.com//Texsource-TexMagic-Hand-Cleaner_p_8073.html (http://www.screenprintingsupply.com//Texsource-TexMagic-Hand-Cleaner_p_8073.html)

Way thicker than GOOP, doesn't slide off your hands when you're trying to rub it in.  Only complaint is that the dispenser has a slow leak and has made a little mountain of dried cleaner on the floor.

The CCI soap is  ProChem HandPro and I will switch to it in 74748 yeas when we run out of Goop because it works better and is easier on your hands.

Sounds nice, maybe we will have to give it a try! How is the price in comparison? We usually get the Goop Orange stuff for around $9/gal

Yep, CCI ProChem Hand Pro.  Awesome stuff, and nice to your hands.  Have it at the shop and a bottle at home as well.

CCI stuff. Sorry fast orange/goop dudes, works better and keeps your hands soft for the ladies.
Just wish the gallons came with a jug pump.

unless I am mistaken, I believe we tested the CCI stuff and SAATI was much nicer. I guess I might have to try it again . . .

Beaver Nut Scrub

best stuff I have ever used, all natural, no solvents like that orange stuff

Looks the same as that TexMagic - both use powdered walnuts in them.  Bit pricey but it takes less soap like it says.

we use Fast Orange hand cleaner and add a little Beaniedoo or Greenway to it to thin and cut the ink quicker...works the nuts and it ain't bad on the hands either :o
