just wondering what you guys who own a Diamondback S do in order to prevent the squeegee running of the pallet. If I remember right I read a few times that it`s really not so recommended to have it run over the edge of your pallet. Well now we have almost 200o tees coming up, all discharge neck print with the image being placed around 1.5 inches below the neck. Adjusting the floodbar angle of course is one option but that won`t leave us with much space for ink I guess. Just wondering if I approach this all the wrong way and maybe there is a very simple solution.

I have only had my Dback S since January. Squeegee's belong on the platen not over. If plattens are set up correctly you should be able to just move the shirt down or you could move your screen up with the side clamps. I have yet to move/replace my platens. I will leave the plattens right where the tech left them. The squeegee does land about a half inch from the edge,on the platen. With such a high neck print i like to have the sewn label hang over the edge. That way it is away from the image area. Even an inside transfer label might get in the way with discharge ink. I just did some gildan poly shirts and label was huge on the inside.

move your art up on the carrier, now your new problem is it wont flood all the way, if its plastisol its not a big deal, but with discharge its gonna be a problem. No way around it on the DB.

Regarding it being a water base print if you use an open mesh and keep the press moving and depending on the design it is not law to flood or fill the screen. You can get away with it being set for plastisol. Just keep an eye on it.
