I had a member request for a photo of a repair I made to my dryer belt (using teflon thread).
I cut an 11' conveyor down to 8' and had to shorten the belt by 6'.
I overlapped the belt about 12" and stitched the leading and trailing edges (plus darned a small hole closed).
Here's what the repair looks like... nothing extraordinary... but works fine.

Nicely done!
We bought a belt that was just a little too long, and took the opposite approach:

Yes very nicely done, the way it should be done 8)

That's impressive Northland, tight work.
We used dental floss on ours and it looked like cave people did it....but that sucker is holding.

I first used dental floss about 9 years ago and it is still today holding that belt even though we only use that dryer for a back up now.
