Any ups or downs for you who have tried it?

I don't see any real difference. I pay for the premium membership so I upgraded. If I had to pay the $149 or whatever to upgrade, I don't think it makes any difference from X6 or even X5. They just didn't put a lot of updating in to it in my opinion

Maybe X7 won't crash as much as X6? If so it'd be worth the update. Lately I've had some trouble with X6 being able to open some Adobe-created .pdf and .eps files too.

I have always been convinced that Adobe works hard to mess up files when opened in Corel.....Something to keep Corel Developers on their toes...The latest problem has to do with the "Live Corners Tool....The corners are round in Illustrator and square when the file opens in Corel....It is possible to save Adobe files in such a way that they work better in Corel, but of course the user has to want to.....

I am having trouble printing from Corel 6, so I hope they have fixed that. Prints sent to my Roland are all washed out from X6 but when I save as version X4 and print from X4 it works perfectly. Version X6 cannot print at all to my OKI A3 Laser printer (an older 8800)
