Title: ironing marks
Post by: Croft on May 08, 2014, 12:16:39 PM
I have printed some of the new poly fleece hoodies, printing went great, I ironed some numbers on the arms and got a shinny iron mark on the fabric where it was thicker at the hems , there sending them back :(
I don't think there melted , they have washed once without it changing .
Anyone have an idea how I can "raise"? the fabric a bit.

Pretty sure they have "melted/fused" some.
Try brushing fabric with a couple of different clean brush densities.
We usually use a raised bed under just around image and customer
has to understand this slight downside.

Once fused a plastic ziper shut on a 1/4 zip fleece, no going back on that one. :o

We use a product called magic sizing to get board marks (pressure lines from squeegee) out. Smells really good too! Walmart...
