Title: Corel X6 Color Styles Printing.... Need Help
Post by: studog on May 15, 2014, 10:27:56 AM
I am attempting to print to an HP5100 after I have used color styles and changed my CMYK colors to a PMS. They show as a PMS in separations and show in the preview but do not print.

At all or not halftoned?

I use x6 no problem. Make sure the seperations page prior to the color are checked and each color to print is checked with the halftones set to what you want, say 45lpi/ 25 deg.

Does not print at all. Yes I have separations selected, I see my pantone colors, they show up in the preview but does not print. If I go back to the art the color says ColorStyle 2 which is a PMS color like 485. If I the bring up the ColorStyle 2 PMS 485 color and click on a color from my PMS pallet it will then print.

I have this same issue with some custom colors I have.  I have never been able to find a fix.  I generally just change it to a standard pms color a print.   It will show in the print preview box with all other color separations but when it prints it will not at all.

sorry no help but at least you are not the only one.
