Title: has anyone obtained a copyright

I need to protect something I authored that will end up on a tee shirt.
How do I protect my work product?
any help is greatly appreciated.

I've done it on music works.

... fill in a form from the us copyright office (copyright.gov) ... pay your $$$ it used to be like $20  now looks like $35 if you're registering online  ... put the (c) on the image somewhere with your name.

good to go.

I did some software about 15 years ago and handled it all myself.  Wasn't that difficult as I remember and not very expensive.
