Title: Discharge on Anvil 420 Organic?
Post by: Sbrem on June 13, 2014, 09:57:05 AM
I have a customer looking for organic, and the print is big ole box in white, so I want to discharge it. I tried searching, but don't have the time to dig through the replies. Thanks in advance guys (and girls too, sorry)

Pretty sure you're good to go on most colors

Never tried due to the high cost of Organic. Only one way to find out. The Organic dyes would be suspect though. Also I wouldn't consider ZFS organic ;)

UPDATE: AlphaBroder just got back to me with info on their Econscious line, and some of the colors do discharge, I'm waiting for a list from them...

I've had mixed results with Anvil over the years, and avoided them at all costs when it came to discharge for a while, but have had some success in recent times on a few customer supplied orders.  They were not organics though.  I'd definitely run a test on each size before going full steam.

anvil 490 (organic ringspun) discharges nicely. We have done it few times and I've been very happy with the results (black shirts).

Yes, many of the econ colors also discharge, some very well.
