Title: Discharge with foil
Post by: Rockers on June 14, 2014, 05:40:36 AM
Played around a little today with discharge inks and metallic foil, 2 color print. Thanks to the discharge this was actually kind of easy. Would have never come out like this if we had used plastisol and overprinted it with foil release clear.

That is amazing.
How did you do the foil? (Brand, or adhesive?) I can't get it perfect.

We used CCI discharge and Union HSA foil adhesive which cures at almost the same temp and time as the discharge. I think the foil is from a German company called KURZ.

Correct that's why we used discharge with red pigments. And it looks a lot better then plastisol printed with some foil repellent on top.

That`s assuming you know how much we paid or did not pay for it. And we don`t judge our products only by what they cost.
