I have a file which needs to be converted to an older version of illustrator I have cs4 so that will work. below is the link

There are some "unusual" fonts in that file.....And not converted to "outlines"....

looks like I had all the fonts on my pc... sent you an email with the conversion.
let me know if you need the fonts outlined.

yeah the font was bleeding cowboys, the designer/customer are real original in using the font

A trick I've used a lot, before I was running CS6, was to download the file, then "Place" it onto a new page in Illustrator, then run Flatten Transparency under the Object menu, be sure the "convert fonts to outline" box is checked, and you won't need to have the fonts...

I think that only works with a PDF...

pdf and eps, and I thought ai, but it didn't work, hmmm... I was sure I've done that before
