Title: Adelco Jet Force Dryer
Post by: sqslabs on July 24, 2014, 08:15:18 PM
Anybody have experience with Adelco dryers, specifically the Jet Force?  I may have the opportunity to buy one but hadn't even heard of the brand until now.  Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

Had an Adelco dual belt reciprocating dryer service=zero. You're pretty much on your own.

Adelco is a leading UK based manufacturer of manual screen-printing, electric and gas fired curing equipment and other accessories.  They have a good name in the UK but are not widely known over here.  I know that they are tied into Kornit, and that they were at one time (and might still be) associated with Hirsch. Unfortunately I don't know of enough companies running their gas dryers to give you any first hand reports of how good the equipment is.

Yep to all said.  A great dryer.  Way too many safeties.  However if yow maintain it on a very regular basis it is a great dryer.  Air flow design is good as well.

Dan at Forward has one, give him a ring and he would more than likely tell you all you want to know.

Thanks for all the input.  I made the deal on it and will have it in my shop this weekend.  Will post some pics once I get it set up.

We have two of them here in Cali.. ET150G with 8' and 12' heat chamber.
LOVE THEM!!

They use a pressurized heat chamber to create an even air flow

The exhaust stack is only 4" so no need to cut this gigantic hole in your ceiling or buy that wicked expensive 12" exhaust pipe.

One of the issues with the older models, they use a quartz lens to 'view' the flame and when it gets to dirty, you have to clean the lens.

Easy on these new ones, the old not so as you basically have to disassemble the sensor.
