Post by: Prosperi-Tees on September 26, 2014, 01:15:51 AM
Looking for (10) 12x18 or 12x22 M&R platens. I have a dozen older 16x22's that I could trade as well if interested. PM or email me @ gerry@prosperitees.org

What would be the cost in cutting down those?

Easiest run them through the table saw with a carbide blade, little WD40 on the blade before each cut. Nip the cut side corners on a 45 then take a grinder with 40 grit sanding disc and round them or use a jigsaw.

If it was me I would pop the brackets off the back cut 4" off the one side, end up with 12" and 4" pallets.
Then put the brackets back on the 12" and buy brackets for your new sleeve pallets later.

And then buy a laser system with the money Brian just saved you! ;)

Be sure to run your blade so it chucks the cut piece of Al away from you.  I almost skewered myself once.
