Title: Tuf Javelin 6/8 HELP.
Post by: BrandMarinade on December 20, 2014, 07:29:39 PM
Hi,
I recently picked up a 6 color 8 station Tuf Javelin from 1998. The owner did not know much about the machine, other than it got left behind when his tenants had to move out in a hurry (for what reason, I am not sure).
So the press looks to be in good shape and well taken care of. But under further inspection, some of the wires running to the CPU have been removed.
So, if anyone has one of these machines, or a similar year/head/station, would it be possible to take a picture of the CPU and all the wires? According to workhorse, there are no wiring diagrams on machines older than 2003.

Thanks in advance!!!

-Chris

I'll take some photos tomorrow but if I recall correctly, mine has some wires removed as well.  Have you tried running it as-is?

There are some wires that are not used near the PLC... Put up a pic when you get a minute.

FYI, I have wiring diagrams from the Festo FPC101B's and can help with wiring if you need it.

Depending if the Javelin had a flashback or not, that could explain the wires as well.  Especially if it doesn't want to table up after you power it up.

I also need help with the wiring diagrams for the festo plc.
