For automatic Youth Pallets, which size do you have or would you get?
Width - 10" 12" or other.
Thanks!

Merry Christmas!!

Agreed on the 12"...
I might want to get a set of 14" too, we'll see how things go, but you can fit most youth sizes on a 14" and still have a 13" wide print for the adult sizes. had 14" on our old Javelin, and our reps talked us out of getting a set of 14" to start on the new sporty.

Most people buy 12" youth pallets when they understand that image size will change with a 10" pallet. If your customer wants youth and adult shirts in a run, they rarely want to pay for 2 screen charges. With a 10" pallet, you're limited to a 10" image. A 10" wide image is noticeably small for the larger adult shirts. The down side of 12" youth pallets is that the smallest youth sizes are snug or don't fit.

I would agree that the 12" is the most versatile, however for a slightly different reason. Girlie shirts of all kinds often print better on a 12" than a standard adult 16 or 18".

12". I got 10" boards for doing totes on. I'm going to get some 12"s too. Exact reason Greg mentioned. Small girly tees. If you're loading them on the 10" boards, you're really limiting your image size:

I'll second the 14" with one footnote: Not good for many yth x-smalls. Upside is that many adult graphics fit on these so less platen changeover

I always cut my platens to 13½"/ Youth XS will fit, but a little snug.
