We recently starting putting liners in our boxes with our tees. Wondering if anyone else does this, and where you are getting your liner bags?
-
HECK NAW!!!! since we use the same box they shipped in, we shipped then out the same way...whadda ya need a liner for? yo shop that dirty LOL just messing with ya
darryl
PS We do get some white shirts with a box liner, but we don't do a lot of white any more

Now I am not going to go as low as Darryl and call your shop a filthy mess and all ;) But why the need/want for liners? I guess I just never really thought about it.
-
we started doing it for customers that were over seas. One of our bigger clients ships everything by boat, literally, and we started doing it to make sure they weren't getting wet cardboard stained tees!
now we just do it, as i think it makes the overall package look a little nicer.

Most of the time you could lick the floor in my shop so for us it's not a matter of dirty shop(lol) but we do line every box with a clear plastic trash sack before putting shirts in. Just std procedure around here and never thought about not doing it I suppose. We get our bags from a local supply house as they are pretty cheap overall. It's the same bags we line our daily trash barrels with.

The above statement makes sense, we've had to ditch boxes that our UPS guy dropped in the the parking lot right in a puddle of water...

every full case of gildan shirts always comes with a liner... we reuse those when we ship.
however, if the customer is picking up the order, we typically don't line them.

We do it for white shirts but that's it.
-
We use liners for White and very light color garments. We use Uline trash can liners.
