turned a 22 sq ft refrigerator into screen storage, very expensive because the frig was pretty new when it crapped out, compressor failed. It seems that some of the major manufactures, this one was a Whirlpool send the big box stores (in this case Lowes) new friges with remanufactured compressors. the big box stores don't ask and don't tell but it is a very common practice.
If you are interested I can expand on how we found out.
Anyway....after 3 years keeping my beer cold the carcase has a new job in my print shop.

LOL.
Very nice. I might break mine now on purpose :)

BTW, how do you circulate air so they can dry out in there?

A fellow printer in town also has an ice cream truck business. So he ends up with lots of deep freezers that fail. He uses one for his screen storage as well.
I was going to do this myself when I was still working out of my shed.

At the moment it is just a light tight storage box. I have a dry box the works the nuts off a 110v fan heater unit you can buy at a home center.
I have the heat element hooked up to a typical t-stat that controls the temp at 90 degrees but maintains the fan on even if heat is off.
Eventually I want to install similar heater in the space in the lower frig area and exhaust the air out the upper areas using h soffit vent louvers.
But until then it is just a big box .
