Title: Selling Equipment
Post by: cleveprint on February 24, 2015, 04:58:03 PM
Hey All,

Where has anyone had good luck selling equipment at? I was going to make a post here too but wanted to see where else anyone has had luck. Anyone ever do anything through a broker? Our dryer is old, but works like a charm and I would like to get a few bucks for it. Let me know if anyone has some ideas. Thanks guys.

Digitsmith is definitely the place to be for selling used equipment.

There is a one time fee for a year of being able to list equipment on there, but its well worth it for the exposure and costs a lot less than a broker would.

Wel, an ad here is still free and it can only increase your odds  :)

Start with a post here at TSB so I can see what you have. I may have interest if the condition, size, and price meet my specs.

I believe that if you pay a fee, that will put your ad as a sticky. On a top of the listings.
I did post a few times and never paid anything.

I post a lot on Digitsmith and don't pay. I think that all new members since last year have to pay to post used equipment.

Well that's weird.  When I was listing my dryer, I couldn't find a way to post without paying the fee.

I've had a few guys that have contacted me because they didn't have the option to post without paying but there should be a button that says "post new ad" in red in the top left portion of the screen when you open the section you want to post your ad in.
