Title: Pics of my shop.....in progress- Take 2
Post by: screenxpress on September 12, 2011, 11:33:59 PM
Well, I'm a home-based shop getting set back up again and these are the pics of the garage when I started and again nearly completed.

I did make a vent hood cover that sits on top of the dryer with a secondary vent system that, in preliminary testing, had a temperature drop (measuring the wall at the back of the dryer) of about 30 degrees.  I'm hoping that will keep the work area somewhat tolerable.  Excluding Flash, of course.  But I'm thinking on that too and already have an idea.

I'll post some pics of the complete setup by the weekend.

Good job... your space looks worse (more cluttered) than mine! ;)

Well, I have the equipment in there now and it's a bit busy, but not really that cramped.  I even have  a couple of shelving units on the side wall by the A/C for inks, etc.

Glad to see you're getting set up again, Wayne. Oddly, though, my shop looks a lot more like the top picture now that I'm "settled in". My wife won't even go out there. I could probably have a girl living out there and she wouldn't know.  ;)

Thanks.  Been over 2 years since we sold that house (due to death in the family) and I was able to get everything out of storage and start setting up again.  Chomping at the bit.
