Title: Why is a M&R Reno stand so expensive?
Post by: Get Shirts on March 09, 2015, 04:12:30 PM
Has anyone purchased a stand for a Reno (18x18) flash alone?  I simply need to put this thing on wheels and it's going to cost around $400 after crating (?) and freight.

You are buying a near bullet proof stand.  Everything is heavy duty...even the casters.  Our stands have been used continuously for over 12 years and still look and work perfectly.  The flash unit is still going strong too.  We have replace almost all of our black flash units during the same time period.

Because you get what you pay for is the biggest reason.

I know, I was in a poor mood when I posted that question.  Of course they are worth their price tag.

No offense taken.

I look at the Reno's from another perspective.  The Reno Flashes are the CHEAPEST flashes available be cause they last SO long.  I don't much care what something costs if I only have to buy it once.
I put the Reno flashes in that catagory.
