We don't do a lot of Comfort Colors here, but just had a hoodie run and didn't realize until it was too late that spot gunning them would make the problem worse. Is there any way to spot clean garment dyed stuff without creating a bigger issue?

Well that grinds my gears.
And with that I'll be writing a new book titled "How to lose $60 in 30 seconds, or your money back". The books cost $20 each and will be limited to 3 copies, so just PM me to reserve one before they're sold out.

I was recently told to adjust your gun to a mist instead of a stream and it won't take the dye out of the shirt. I have not tried this yet.
If this it true, it could have saved a bunch of heartache over the years.
Good luck.

I got a pile of black shirts we run the wrong discharge color on, thought about discharging the whole spot that same color and printing something else over it with plastisol ink.

Depending on the boo-boo, it's often the forceful stream that knocks it out as much as the cleaning fluid does. I also have doubts that misting, or even dabbing the fluid on would not affect the dye somewhat. Of course, sqslabs has a few to experiment with.
btw, neons are what helped keep me honest (and neat)
