Checking with Hix but they are saying they aren't theirs.

Gil, I don't no why these frames didn't really take off because they are some very nice solid frames, I have about 4 or 5 that have been tension to 20 to 25 newtons for years. I think the big draw back to these frames are you really have to watch how you tension or your frame size will be change on each frame.

Darryl, he wants to know what brand they are (and Hix has already been ruled out)
-
I have a dozen of these also. Don't know who made them, but they work well.
-
Sorry I only glance them, but they still look like a Hix knock off brand
-
...I had a few of the Hix ones, and they have the channels facing the mesh, not on the side like these. As a side note, I kind of liked the Hix ones, very strong and stiff, no flex, and always in plane. You would have screens be a slightly different size, but no big deal if using side clamps, and a three-point reg system.
...so yeah, back on topic, no idea what these are.

The brand was Climax, we have a few hundred in our rotation...

The hix retens were bought by Shur Loc. I would ask those guys, they are very helpful.

Trust me, the brand was Climax. Long gone.

That's sure a heck of a name for some screen frames, what were they that good it made you climax ;D ??? ::)

Trust me, the brand was Climax. Long gone.

I REALLY like the tool-less lock-less design, just we are having a hard time meshing, specifically corner softening.
