Doin' the obscure vinyl thing this evening at the pond, and came up with this lesser known gem from 1969, fortunately known enough that someone uploaded it to YouTube. Steamhammer didn't keep the same lineup, and I didn't follow them after this, but always considered this album special because nobody else I knew had it.
Mrs. Frog just came in with her i-phone out telling me she wants it downloaded.
Enjoy

cool thread, we should keep this going and have everyone drop a new one in when they feel like it. BTW, try this link for the FREE download, it works like a charm.

Thanks, a great site (as long as the youtube video is of good quality. I've come across some real stinkers over the years.)
Helluva lot faster than ripping as well. :)

Takes me back, though I don't remember the band, it's exactly what I and all my friends' bands were doing at the time...

Yep, in fact I thought of you when I posted this, seeing its era. What got me started on this age of music yesterday was looking up old Yardbird stuff on the Internet. But by the time of this first Steamhammer album, the Yardbirds were pretty much done for even with their New Yardbirds persona, which of course became Led Zeppelin
