Title: What inks to use for mesh bibs?
Post by: Rockers on April 18, 2015, 05:43:10 AM
A client of use would like to get 100 mesh bibs with a white print. Now I`m kind of wondering what the best approach to this project might be. Especially in terms of inks and not clogging the little mesh openings of the bibs. Sure sublimation would be an option but we don`t offer that service. Would waterbased ink make this any easier compared to the thick polyester plastisol inks?
this is giving me a headache before we have even started on this job.

Opps, just woke up, not terry bibs but athletic bibs (pennies?) Just deleted my first response.
I would use a white poly ink (Wilflex Epic Top Score) and PFP. I never have a problem with the mesh openings, you just wipe off any ink off the platters if the flash does not dry it first. Also poly transfer will work and some wb inks should work.
