This happened at my Daughter and Son-in-law's Angus Cattle Ranch about 20 miles east of me.... It dropped down almost right on top of them. There were no warnings issued by the National Weather Service although a storm spotter reported a funnel cloud. Scary Stuff!

Don't you guys set your watches to tornadoes? That is some cool footage though. Everybody doing ok?

Everyone is fine.. With climate change, the storms are getting more intense. We've had 2 new roofs due to hail in the last 2 years.

Luckily everyone is OK.
Good luck guys over there.

Donnie, my oldest son and his increasing pregnant wife got their farmhouse and outbuildings HAMMERED with big hail Northwest of Wakita Saturday night. Wakita happens to be where that movie "Twister" was filmed a few years ago...about 70 miles east of you.
Big enough hail to dent the metal roundtop where his workshop is!!
Where tornados are, certainly the opportunity for hail often exists. And "tis the season" for those big storms. That is correct. I've seen thunderhead tops" approach 70,000 feet before.
