I had a small rip at the very edge of my belt where the 2 ends meet . Somehow it got caught on the entry of the dryer and ripped 1/3 of the way down. I semi stitched it for a temporary fix but I need to get a more permanent fix. I love as wondering what type of tape is on there and of that can be bought to patch.
It is a m&r heatwave 36" belt. Any this thoughts advise would be appreciated.

Every time i've seen it done they have used a scrap piece of belt and stitched it up with high temp thick thread.

MRPRINT DRYER BELT REPAIR KIT: Ideally small breaks in the dryer belt are fixed while they are still small breaks.
Call MRPrint (800 736-6431) and ask for the parts department. They sell a dedicated dryer belt repair kit that includes all the components you should need.
It contains a number of 12" x 12" pieces of belt material and enough heat resistant cord to attach patches over several breaks. The repair patches can be trimmed smaller for small holes in your belt.
The kits are pretty inexpensive and greatly extend the use life of your dryer belt.
Hope this helps you.
