Title: Exposure Unit bulb
Post by: 3Deep on May 06, 2015, 04:26:19 PM
Hey like to ask you guys for answers before I call the company, what is the difference in the halogen 1000 watt bulbs you buy at Home Depot/Lowes than the 1000 watt halogen you buy from the exposure unit maker, besides price?

Can't answer that one until you get a spectrum spec for the mfg.

but there isn't a halogen bulb out there that is rich in the UV we need!

Are you sure that it isn't Metal Halide?

What unit are you using Darryl?

Yep, I seem to remember those as Halogen.
5-10 minute exposures?

I am betting that there is not a choice of spectrum on Halogen bulbs, and whatever fits will be fine, but then again...
