first reaction was holly crap! the second one was, that's not right, the third one was, nah he says it is and finally after reading one of the posts and thinking about it, it was clear something was off (the flesh around the wound would be red and swollen if it was from today and no sane person would be taking pictures of it instead of going to the doctor).

You had me going though!

pierre

p.s. nice work on the SFX!

You're just mean.

I swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.  But then I got to thinking and reading and....well....

Pierre nailed it for me too.

But you're still mean.

Well, when we bought the children's activity center she figured she should dial back a bit.

She had already nixed the earings that were connected with chains when we had the baby (obviously, a very smart move) and she started dying her hair normal colors again.

When I met her it was pink and purple and all sorts of odd colors.  Here is her contact pic on my phone... never changed it from when we first started dating (oddly, I don't get into all that fancy phone crap).

When you said her hand was F'd up I had flashbacks of a 2 months ago. My 2 puppies decided to have a wrestling match that soon escalated to a biting match and my little women decided to break em up. She didn't get bit but did get her hand raked across the teeth of the German shepherd (125lbs) and it laid open the back of her hand. After a quick trip to the ER and then the OR leaving with a bill for 3 grand I told her that next time just let them have at it..... afterall the vet bill would not be nearly that expensive. This picture was taken a week after the incident and it really healed up nicely. She went to her dermatologist for her yearly checkup and he didn't even notice it.... Oh yeah, my other puppy is a 65 lb English bull dog.... you would think that enough time has passed that the English and the Germans would get along by now.

Wow, a little scar and NO thumb? And the dermatologist didn't even notice!

That thumb thing is a whole nother story..... it involves the Bahamas, a mahi mahi and a mako shark.....

OK, we gotta hear that one!

I had a nurse shark try to bite me when I latched on for a ride. It was not too happy with me holding on to it's pectoral fins, but I don't think it could even bite anything off if it tried (very small teeth).

She didn't really lose her thumb but the dog bite picture did make it look that way. I guess I hadn't noticed that. But she could have lost more than that if the shark would have had a chance to bite her. Caught this bad boy while fishing about 100 yds off the beach at Nassau. She hooked a Mahi Mahi and the shark ate her fish and the locals got to eat the shark....... Everyone was happy except for the Mahi and the shark.

he mentions getting eaten by a shark in deep blue sea.  Also, that movie is truly terrible.

That's crazy because that link takes me to a Samuel Jackson spoof from the Chappelle Show and some on these boards might even think it is offensive.... not me, but some might.

Yeah, that's the one where he does SLJ talking about Deep Blue Sea saying "A SHARK F'ING ATE ME!!!"

I thought it was relevant.  Meh. :)
