I've had this logo digitized/edited by 3 different sources and I still think it looks....ehhh. Anyone here that is good with small lettering and would like to take a look at the file and give me a price to edit/fix it? Or am I over thinking this and this is fine? This is 2 different edits/files shown.

It could use a little lovin but it really depends on just how small it is. Are you using 60wt for the Mechanical Contractors? Did the digitizers give you an EMB file?

I am no embroiderer. I would start by making it bigger if you can. Try stacking the smallest type on top of each other. Quater inch high type? Show these finished samples to the customer and also show him your new version with bigger type. Tell him for best results...

40 weight and I am matching what was already done. I went to a smaller needle which seems to help quite a bit. Still a work in progress but I think its going to get me to where I feel alright about it.
thanks

Good deal. If you can't get it where you need it let me know. I'll take a look. I'd prefer it in an EMB file if you have it.

I recommend you have it digitized for 60W on the small letters using a 65/9 needle or even 75W with a density of 2.0 using a 60/8 needle. Also increase your backing and use a topping (ie. Solvey).

Those letters on that type fabric will be a problem no matter what you do...but
try doubling up on the backing 2 layers,
use solvy if you have it.
The best fix would be to change the text to a micro block style, those super thin columns will always dive into the fabric. You have to understand that you are trying to lay a thread between two needle holes that are most likely intersecting each other. The result is the thread has nothing or very little to rest upon so it either dives in or disappears all together.
I think you are chasing a ghost on this .

Agree with Mooseman ;)
Solvy often is the answer, so that the thread stays on top.
If you want, I can take a stab at it....

BTW, you need a new digitizer. Even the top letters are ....ehhhhh. :)
Thinner thread with thinner needle for the smaller one like mentioned before. You never said how tall it is.
